About the Role:
Visa for Europe is being made via our company GVMC GLOBAL Latvia branch. Candidates will be applying for VISA D, arriving to Latvia and then going for a job in Lithuania. Processing time is 3-5 months, then conversion from Latvian visa to Lithuanian LLG will take 4 weeks while candidate can be doing training at driving school for code 95 and taco card.

Length of contract : 24 month renewable
Working Hours/month : According to EU countries’ rules on drivers’ hours and working times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy trucks (over 3.5 tonnes) for the transportation of goods within national and EU countries
• Plan routes based on delivery schedules, road conditions, and legal driving hours
• Load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring it is safely transported
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
• Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, deliveries, and fuel use (tachograph management)
• Comply with EU transport regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
• Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff as needed
• Adhere to timelines and delivery deadlines
• Maintain cleanliness and care of the vehicle
Work Conditions:
• Long-distance and overnight trips across multiple countries
• Extended periods away from home depending on the route
• Physically demanding tasks such as loading/unloading in some cases
• Exposure to varying weather and road conditions
Job Requirements:
• Valid CE driving license (for heavy truck and trailer combination)
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Tachograph card and understanding of EU driving/rest time regulations
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a heavy truck driver (international experience preferred)
• Good knowledge of road safety and transportation regulations in the EU
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and safety checks
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in basic English or another European language is a plus
