Position: Pipe Fitters (EU Projects / Shipbuilding / Industrial)

About the Role:

A reputed international company is urgently hiring experienced Pipefitters for ongoing projects in Europe, including shipbuilding, offshore, and industrial sectors.

Position: Pipefitter

Salary & Benefits:
€8 – €10 NET per hour (depending on experience and test results)
• Minimum working hours PM – 200 hours
• Accommodation provided by company
• Travel / flight arrangements provided
• Rotation schedule available
• Long-term stable projects

Job Requirements:

Education & Certification:
• Technical/vocational training in pipefitting, mechanical, or metalwork trades
• Valid trade certification (preferred, depending on country)
• Ability to read and work according to isometric drawings and P&IDs
• Safety certifications (e.g., VCA, OSHA, or equivalent)
• Tack welding experience (advantage)

Work Experience
• Minimum 2–5 years experience as a pipefitter (shipbuilding, oil & gas, or industrial projects)
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex materials
• Background in shipyards or offshore projects is a strong advantage

Technical Skills
• Reading and interpreting:
• Isometric drawings
• Piping layouts and GA drawings
• Pipe installation, alignment, and assembly
• Cutting, grinding, beveling, and fit-up
• Tack welding for fit-up and positioning (no full welding responsibilities)
• Knowledge of:
-Pipe supports installation
– Flange connections and bolt tightening
-Valves and fittings installation
• Understanding of tolerances and measurements
• Ability to prepare pipes for welding (fit-up quality for certified welders

Tools & Equipment:
• Skilled in using:
• Pipe cutting machines
• Grinders, bevelling tools
• Measuring tools (callipers, levels, laser alignment tools)
• Experience working with prefabrication and site installation

Standards & Quality:
• Basic knowledge of relevant standards:
• ISO / EN standards (e.g., EN 1090 – general understanding)
• Ability to follow WPS (for fit-up and preparation only)
• Understanding of quality control and NDT preparation

Safety Requirements:
• Strong adherence to HSE regulations
• Ability to work safely in:
• Confined spaces
– Heights
– Industrial environments
• Use of PPE at all times

Language & Mobility:
• Good English (for communication on international sites)
• Willingness to travel/work abroad (EU projects)
• Ability to work in multicultural teams

Personal Qualities:
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Problem-solving mindset
• Reliability and discipline

Optional (Strong Advantage):
• Experience with ship repair projects
• Driving license (B category)
• Experience leading small teams
